Frequently Asked Questions

REGISTRATION FOR THE IN-PERSON MONUMENTAL MILE IS NOW CLOSED.

We are no longer able to transfer in-person registrants to the virtual race.

WHEN IS THE 2021 MONUMENTAL MILE?

Planning is underway for the 2021 Monumental Mile with the goal of returning to downtown Indianapolis on Thursday, June 3, 2021. We are working closely with the City of Indianapolis, including the Marion County Public Health Department, to safely produce an in-person race experience for race participants, volunteers, spectators, staff, and the Indianapolis community.

The 2021 race will look different: masks will be required (except when running), the field size will be limited, the event will be set up to account for social distancing and limiting contact, and there will not be a post-race party. We will continue to have a division for everyone: masters, open, youth, elite athletes, and the non-competitive community mile where family participation and strollers are encouraged!

You can also run the race VIRTUALLY.
